The blogger is not a whore

Blogger life is filled with interesting experience I can see for almost 8 years here and elsewhere. The first people with whom I communicate directly are firstly other bloggers, then my readers can come in third place, advertisers and advertising agencies.pub

Blog & Pub

Yes, because we should not hide, a blog that attracts necessarily walking advertising and I would be wrong not to enjoy. On this blog, you are not too bothered by advertising normally there are quite a few bands AdSense here and there, some links in articles and even sponsored articles. For that I am not an outlaw, you can find a special page here which highlights the structure I use to manage it.

In short, all that to say that some advertisers and advertising agencies really take bloggers for prostitutes with indecent proposals. A recent experience has me once again prove, and it’s really a shame to have to make these web players.

On the “market” blogs, there I see two kinds of advertising: honest and dishonest. It’s a bit like everywhere I tell you …

Friendly advertising

When I receive a request for partnership, the first lines of the email or on the phone the first words are representative of what will happen. Most of the time, contacts are constructive and allow both parties to move forward and find a common ground.

With this kind of contact, the messages are personalized and contact is seriously short, the work of pro and above all, enjoyable. But this is not always the case.

Unfriendly Advertising

Other advertisers are bloggers for prostitutes and I’ve never had really wanted to get into this kind of ride. Proposals are sometimes strict and imposing, no discussion is possible and the blogger must comply with the requirements of the advertising. For example, a recent contact sends me an email with a partnership that suited him, basically “you put links here, you shut your mouth and I’ll give you 10 euros.”

Unfortunately on my blogs, it does not work like that and I hope you either, if you have a blog.

Never lie

When we arrive in the world of blogs, partnership proposals appear as a result. With experience, we must learn to sort and accept only what is beneficial for everyone.

The major risk is to drag a ball throughout the existence of the blog, and it’s really not interesting.

And then?

Yes, so what? So my article is not necessarily helpful and I did not need to make the poor little wretch blogger., I just want to share this experience and possibly be listening to your opinion this topic.

The articles “rant” are not too common here, but from time to time, it feels good.

Experience teaches not to let it go and not to respond to such mails, I just wasted my time responding to this contact, who believed to hold the keys to success and more!
