CloudConvert, the best free online service to convert a file

Like everyone else, you get some time to convert a file. The problem is that you never know what tool to! And as you do not want to install 50 software, it is best to move again towards the internet. With over 140 different formats, I invite you to discover CloudConvert, the best free online service to convert a file

CloudConvert stands out from the competition by offering a clean design, and most importantly, its 140 formats supported. Attorneys in the bunch include the best known:

  •      Archive: 7z, zip, rar, iso …
  •      Audio: mp3, wav, wma …
  •      Document: doc, docx, odt …
  •      Ebook: html, pdf, txt …
  •      Image: gif, jpg, png
  •      Video: 3gp, avi, mp4

How to convert a file:
1. Start by going to the site CloudConvert. Select the file you want to convert by clicking “Select files”. By clicking on the small arrow, you can even select the contents of Dropbox and Google Drive. CloudConvert can even batch convert.
2. Select the output format and click on the little cross right to remove a file.
3. Check if you wish to be informed by email or if you wish to receive your converted files Dropbox or Google Drive. Otherwise, click “Start Conversion” to download files directly to your computer.

If you use CloudConvert without registration, you will have some limitations. 5 conversions per day, two concurrent conversions, files up to 100 MB storage for 2 hours. Conversely, if you register for free, you have 25 conversions per day, 5 simultaneous conversions, files up to 1 GB storage for 24 hours.

Note that CloudConvert is still in beta. That means that some bugs may arise at any moment! For my part, nothing to report during my tests.

How do you find CloudConvert? Do you use an online service to convert a file? If yes, which one?
